• Stolac is located in the southeastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the extreme east of Herzegovina-Neretva County. The city was built on the banks of the river Bregava, in the valley, and is surrounded by the mountains Hrgud and Vidovo polje; Križevac hill is almost in the center of the city and Krstac and Križane are also nearby.

• Vjetrenica is the largest and most famous cave in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a protected natural monument and a tourist destination in the southeastern part of Herzegovina. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

• Trebinje is located in the extreme south of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Herzegovina. Trebišnjica sinkhole river flows through Trebinje, the total length of which is 96.5 km. It is located in Trebinje polje, at the foot of the Leotara mountain, at 273 meters above sea level.
